Fermented by-products ensure successful fermentation

FERMENTATIONEXPERTS delivers fully fermented liquid by-products directly from food companies to your farm. These can now be used as inoculation material in your fermentation plant, regardless of whether you feed your animals with traditional grain and soya and/or dry by-products.

FERMENTATIONEXPERTS ensures good hygiene by inoculating the by-product with lactic acid bacteria at the right time, so only the desired lactic acid bacteria are able to develop in the by-product. The lactic acid bacteria also ensure fast preservation. This means that the by-product can be stored for years – in the same way as thousands of other foods.

When by-products are simply treated as waste, the result often matches the treatment. If you receive a clean, inoculated by-product for fermentation, it must not be mixed with other contaminated by-products. As such, the quality of your by-products on reception is crucial.

It is essential to maintain good hygiene and to store the by-products in the same way as foods for human consumption. A pig’s intestinal system is very similar to the human digestive tract, and its stomach (just like ours) cannot tolerate everything.
