The following two analyses reveal that fermentation removes the bitter substances in rapeseed, which makes rapeseed suitable for use as feed for pigs:

Note the glucosinolates on the bottom line: 80% have disappeared after fermentation. This is evidence of the breakdown of the bitter substances in rapeseed.
